Depicting elegant ladies relaxing in a pagoda on a raised fenced terrace, with prancing deer playing in the foregound and waterways, boats and a rural landscape with houses painted in the distance.
The present mirror is executed in equisite painted detail, characteristic of the finest examples of this prized medium of eighteenth-century Chinese export art.
